EWEB was formed in the spring of 2020 by Jack Carek (Guitar, Vocals), Tate Iverson (Bass), Sam Mondros (Guitar, Vocals), and Ben Sickler (Drums). The four were tired of the lack of music in the Eugene area, and wanted to bring some life back into the local scene.
Shortly after coming together, EWEB enlisted the help of saxophonist Joey Schecter to perform Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon cover to cover; which marked their first official show. This first show took place at the Sandlot (the band's home base), and included a large scale light show by John Cannell. It proved to be a huge success, and the band quickly gained a following of fans eager to see live music again after quarantine.
Since then, EWEB have been playing throughout Eugene, Corvallis, and Portland on a weekly basis; establishing themselves as one of the most exciting live acts in the area. This last summer the band toured down the west coast, making stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In San Francisco the band performed with local friends Everything; playing two shows in Marin County and two shows in San Francisco. In Los Angeles they performed a set of three shows with Dumb Luck at venues the Mint, DBA 256, and Alex's Bar.
In the fall of 2022 EWEB became a three piece, and have constructed an energetic set of brand new material. They debuted their new lineup by headlining the Summer's End music festival in Corvallis, which they quickly followed up with a string of shows in Eugene. The band's new sound stays true to their progressive rock roots, but is heavily influenced by modern psychedelic rock.
Last halloween, the band continued their tradition of covering classic albums by playing King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's Nonagon Infinity in its entirety. Isaac Waggoner joined the band on synthesizer and vocals for a secret halloween performance at the Sandlot.
Most recently the group released their debut EP 'Automatic Age'. You can find it on all streaming services.
